Recorded on a Fostex B-16 1/2” machine over 30 years ago in 1990. All of the mics on all of the drums are mics I built that are part of my drum patents. I recruited Michigan legend drummer Tim Fronchek, who had played with Woody Herman’s band, to write something original I could use and bought two days of studio time. One day to capture this and another to record a rock band, both recorded live with no overdubs. I couple years ago I got the 1/2” 16 track tape converted to digital and have now re-mixed and re-mastered it in my new studio.
The drums are from the first kit I ever made. 13" snare. (shown in picture) 18" kick. 10"-12"-14" toms.
